Walk to school October

Mildura West have joined the Walk to school October initiative. Every day during October the Environmental Leaders will record how many times students walk, scoot or ride to and from school using a classroom calendar. At the end of the month the number of ‘walks, scoots or rides’ will be tallied up. The winning Mildura West class will win a free trip to Inflatable world.

Sunraysia Division Basketball finals

This week, we had two enthusiastic Basketball teams compete in the Regional finals; playing 3 games over the course of the day. Both teams put in an incredible effort, playing against some competitive teams. Our girls were able to place an impressive 2nd, with two nail- biting wins and a loss. The boys battled hard all day, showing incredible sportsmanship, but unfortunately were unable to come home with a win. Congratulations to all players, we were very proud to have you representing West! A special thanks to Brian McKerrow for helping coach.
