Premier’s Sustainability Awards 2009

I was very proud to represent our school on Thursday night [April 16th] at the Premier’s Sustainability Awards at the Crown Palladium in Melbourne. It was amazing and very exciting – congratulations to the students and the school community at Mildura West. There are many things that you do to help our environment be sustainable. Many of you show great inspiration and passion thinking about different projects and helping by collecting milk bottles for picnic tables for our outdoor classroom, participating in Rubbish Free Lunches, using water carefully and being involved in student action teams at Rio Vista Park.

Premier's Sustainability Awards 2009

Premier of Victoria, Hon Mr. John Brumby and Minister for the Environment and Climate Change and Minister for Innovation Mr. Gavin Jennings

The Premier’s Sustainability Awards was formal acknowledgement by the Premier of Victoria, Honourable Mr. John Brumby for us winning the Resource Smart Schools Primary Division last year in November 2008. Our school received a certificate.

WELL DONE MILDURA WEST!
