Keep Victoria Beautiful Judge comes to Mildura West

Thank you to our very enthusiastic team of Year 5 and 6 students for convincing the Keep Victoria Beautiful Judge, Ron Williamson, that we have a wonderful community project with Mildura Rural City Council. The Judge commented that our students were very articulate and passionate about their class taking environmental actions. He was amazed by the students’ ability to respond to his questions in great depth and thoroughly enjoyed his time with us. We visited the sites we have had the biggest impact on during the last 12 months: Lake Ranfurly, Johnson’s Bend, the Etiwanda Wetlands and the Mildura Ski Club. Later in October we will find out overall how the Mildura entry involving 8 projects go in the KVB Tidy Towns Awards in Horsham.
