There’s such a great vibe at West. You feel it when you walk in the school gate, into the classrooms and all around the playground. A feeling of joy and a sense of fun.
Positive relationships and trust are vital for all and evident at West. Our parents know that we take very good care of their children. We have an ‘Open Door’ policy, parents know they can “pop in” to chat to the teacher whenever they need. Parents and teachers communicate regularly which is very important to everyone and essential for our children’s education.
All staff are passionate about education, the children and our school.
We have approximately 400 students, from a diverse range of backgrounds and nations, enrolled.
Our school is a vibrant and happy place to be. Take a look at what we value and what we strive for.

Effective schools build a culture of working together. Student Agency refers to the level of independence a student has in the classroom.
The aim of all IB programmes is to develop internationally minded people who recognize their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet.
We have a very dedicated and committed staff. They continually strive to meet the needs of all of the children in their classrooms.
We always celebrate the diversity at Mildura West and the School Community. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.
Students hold lunch time activity clubs, showing wonderful leadership by coming up with the clubs and getting it up and running for other students.
We welcome enquiries from families to find about the wonderful education we can provide. See how to enrol at our school.
